OTHER ULTRACAPACITOR PRODUCERS

There are more than 10 companies worldwide that possess strong technology background in ultracapacitor field. Some of them have already built their production facilities and went through the IPO.

According to the test results published recently by leading experts in the field of ultracapacitors - Dr. John R. Miller, President of JME Inc. and Dr. Andrew Burke from the Institute of Transportation Studies (UC Davis), Yunasko ultracapacitors are superior over other key competitors in terms of specific power and energy parameters.

Highest Power Density

Yunasko ultracapacitors demonstrate the highest power density among the best ultracapacitor companies in the world. It allows to build solutions that are smaller in size and cheaper in price since less single cells can be used in a module. Also, solutions can be designed for the maximum current support (a few thousand of Amperes).

alt

Lowest ESR/EDR

One of the main advantages of YUNASKO ultracapacitors is their lowest Equivalent Series Resistance (ESR) and also Equivalent Distributed Resistance (EDR). Low ESR/EDR is the extremely important parameter in electrical circuits utilizing the stored energy because, under load, the voltage drop and power losses caused by internal resistance can be reduced to minimum values. In practical terms, more energy is readily available for consumption by electronic devices. Low ESR/EDR also implies low heat generation over the power source operation.

alt

Lower dC/dI

YUNASKO ultracapacitors demonstrate the lowest reduction of capacitance with the current increase than any other ultracapacitors on the market. This means that under high load conditions YUNASKO ultracapacitors maintain more of their nominal charge than competing devices.
