Dr. Yuriy Maletin, PhD, DSc

R&D Director


Yuriy has over 20 year experience of research in the field of ultracapacitors. He is responsible for the IP development and management of R&D activities. During 2002-2008, Yuriy headed the Physical Chemistry Department of the National Technical University of Ukraine, Kiev. Prior to that, he was the Head of Coordination Chemistry Department of the Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry of the NASU (National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine). Yuriy published over 70 scientific papers in referred journals; he was a co-inventor of over 20 patents. He has Master degree in Chemistry from Moscow M.V. Lomonosov State University, PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from the NASU, and DSc in Physical Chemistry from Russian Academy of Science. Yuriy is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, UK.

Natalia Stryzhakova

Dr. Natalia Stryzhakova, PhD

Deputy R&D Director

 

Natalia has over 20 year experience of research in the field of ultracapacitors. During 2002-2007, Natalia headed the Research Laboratory on Ultracapacitors of the National Technical University of Ukraine, Kiev. Prior to that, she was a senior staff scientist of the Coordination Chemistry Department of the Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry, NASU. Natalia published over 60 scientific papers in referred journals; she was a co-inventor of over 15 patents. She has Master degree in Chemistry from Kiev T. Shevchenko State University and PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from the NASU. Natalia is a Member of the American Chemical Society (ACS).

Vadym Utkin

Vadym Utkin, MBA

CEO, YUNASKO

 

Vadym Utkin is an English-speaking Ukrainian, MBA, graduated at Kyiv Mohyla Business School. Vadym earned a Master of Science degree at The National Technical University of Ukraine - Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. His main areas of expertise include sales, project management and launching new businesses. He is also a member of Ukrainian Association of Management Consultants (UAMC) and a teacher at Kyiv Mohyla Business School.

Vadym is the founding member of ‘Gde Dengi’ - SaaS service. Vadym spent two and a half years at HansaWorld, where he led Ukrainian office as Country Manager and was responsible for recruiting partners and growing businesses in Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Poland and Russia. Prior to HansaWorld, Vadym spent more than 6 years with Innoware, where he was a co-founder and held various positions in business development and general management, including the last role — Chief Operating Officer. Before Innoware, Vadym served as Regional Director for Robertson & Blums Corporation — US - Baltic consulting company.

 

Alexander Shnaydruk

Alexander is responsible for management of clients, new business opportunities development, including business and manufacturing partnership. Alex has over 7 years of experience in hi-tech business. He held positions of CTO, Project Manager, Worldwide Sales Executive in different hightech startups. Alex has double degree in physics and computer science and completed the international management leadership program «Global Village for Future Leader of Business and Industry 2007», Lehigh University, USA.

Sergii Tychina 

Dr. Sergii Tychina, PhD 

New Business Development Manager

 

Sergii manages major international projects at YUNASKO as well as takes care of the company’s business development activities.  Sergii got Master degree from the National Technical University of Ukraine, and PhD in Physical Chemistry from the National Academy of Science of Ukraine on energy storage system optimization. Prior taking the management positions at YUNASKO in 2012 Sergii worked as a research engineer developing the ultracapacitor electrode fabrication technology. Sergii is also co-author of 4 YUNASKO core patents and patent applications.

 

Vitaliy Shuster

Pilot Plant Director

 

After receiving his Master Degree in Electronics Engineering from Lviv Polytechnic Institute Vitaly had more than 30 year experience in development and production of electrolytic capacitors. He worked at the KATION - one of the largest capacitor plants of the former Soviet Union. In the 90s he headed there a department on development of new types of electrolytic capacitors including ultracapacitors. Vitaliy has 6 patents in the area of electronics.
