Yunasko participated in 2018 Inner Mongolia International Energy Conference in Ordos city, China
Tuesday, 21 August 2018
Yunasko was invited to participate in 2018 Inner Mongolia International Energy Conference organised by World Energy Forum in Ordos city, China. The conference was featuring three Nobel Prize laureates in physics including Konstantin Novosyolov, co-inventor of graphene material. Yunasko's CEO, Vadym Utkin presented Yunasko solution for improving the power performance and safety of the battery technology, namely external combination with ultracapacitors and internal hybridization of ultracapacitor and Li-ion battery technologies enabling to reach energy density over 35 Wh/kg and specific power up to 4 kW/kg over 30’000 cycles 100% DOD. Yunasko's new business development manager, Sergii Tychyna disclosed results of a new Yunasko project partnering with Reakiro S.R.L. The project is focused on synthesis of graphene-like materials from natural sources followed by their use in ultracapacitor electrodes. The ultracapacitor performance obtained for natural graphene produced by proprietary technology exceeds that obtained for synthetic graphene materials received from various producers. The new material enables to increase power and energy performance of ultracapacitors by over 30% with significant cost reduction in comparison with commercially available activated carbons.
